Baptism

Baptism is a sign of belonging to Jesus and beginning a journey of faith with him.  Nobody earns Gods love, it is pure grace, and whether it is baptism as an adult or as a child, it is Gods invitation to  declare and own that love. One of our prayers during the baptism service  "All this for you" reflects this

"For you Jesus Christ came into the world

For you he lived and showed Gods love;

For you he suffered death on the cross;

For  you he triumphed over death. rising to newness of life;

For you he prays at God's right hand:

All this for you

before you could know anything  of it.

In your Baptism

the word of scripture is fulfilled:

We love because God first loved us"

At RMCC we welcome all who wish to explore what baptism.  We also offer a service of Thanksgiving for the birth of a child if you do not wish to have your child baptised.
