One World Concert Highlights 2017

From Brazil to Zimbabwe, Canada to Poland, we came together to celebrate our diverse community in Rugby.

Our Mayor, Cllr Belinda Garcia, opened proceedings

Young members of the Rugby Indian dance group performed first

 An amazing performance from the wonderful Zimbabwean singers

Brazilian folk music was a revelation

   Tialla choreographed and performed her own routine

Older Indian dance students told a traditional tale through dance

 Pauline played Scottish and English tunes on the accordion

Polish choir, Senza Nome, sang some traditional songs and then proved you can be Happy in any language!

 Matthew played Chopin and Scott Joplin

The Youth Ministry from the Church of Pentecost in Leicester were our last performers, before we all came together to sing Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World
